Current available pieces residing in Texas at her studio or Colorado (on display at INDUSTRY, Denver). Pieces range in size from 11x14" to 60x72".
Her current series is based on growing up the only girl in a world of boys - with three brothers plus an "adopted" cousin (also boy), a Brazilian male exchange student, and male live-in nanny. They were awesome to her, teaching her wild things from riding horses and Harleys to back flips and speaking up for herself. They grew up playing on a lake spending hours jumping/biking off docks and skiing, and in that she found a softer feminine side of herself. She continues to explore βart is human; error is human; ergo, art is errorβ (Bayles, 29) through the unforgiving and physical craftsmanship of drawing with fire while creating under time constraints inherent with resin. It channels various observations from contemporary artists such as Joseph Lee, Willy Verginer, and Lefawn Hawk.
